Everything the raffle plugin does
WPRaffle is the most comprehensive online raffle plugin for WordPress and WooCommerce — with the fundraising tools we’ve seen actually raise more money. Here’s the full feature set; each one is available from the edition marked on its card.
Set up & run raffles
Everything lives inside WooCommerce — each raffle is a category, and the tools to manage it are built in.
WooCommerce-native
Each raffle is a WooCommerce category; ticket packages are products inside it. No separate system to learn.
Unlimited raffles
Run as many raffles as you like, each with its own settings and ticket numbers.
Tiered ticket packages
Sell singles and bundles side by side — the pricing structure proven to lift the average donation.
Schedule start & stop
Set dates so ticket sales open and close on their own.
End on total sales
Automatically close a raffle when it hits a dollar amount — handy for staying within permit limits.
Paper & cash orders
Log in-person sales in the admin so paper and online tickets are tracked together.
Reporting & export
See every order and ticket, and export the full list to CSV.
Ticket inventory
Manage and limit the number of tickets available in a raffle.
Archive, backup & restore
Back up and archive a raffle before you make changes, so you can experiment safely.
Ticket numbers & display
More numbering options than any other raffle plugin — plus control over how tickets look.
Custom number formats
Add prefixes and suffixes and set the pattern that fits your raffle.
Leading zeros
Pad numbers to a fixed width — 0001, 0002, 0003 — for tidy, uniform tickets.
Random assignment
Set a fixed pool of tickets and hand them out in random order as orders come in. Requires a ticket limit, and is one of three numbering modes you choose between.
Pick your number
Set a fixed pool and let buyers choose their exact number at checkout — a favorite for first-responder fundraisers, where officers and firefighters claim their badge number. Requires a limit; one of three numbering modes.
Customizable displays
Control how tickets and raffle details show on your site.
Custom ticket images
Put a branded, printable ticket image in every confirmation email.
Large-format tickets
Full-size 1200×400 ticket images for competitions and print-ready tickets.
Sell & get paid
Money goes straight to your own account — WPRaffle never sits in the middle.
Any WooCommerce gateway
Works with virtually any standards-compliant gateway — Stripe, Square, Authorize.net and more.
No per-ticket fees
WPRaffle takes no cut. You pay only your gateway’s normal processing fees.
Tickets emailed
Buyers receive their unique numbers by email the moment payment clears.
Ticket-generation integrity
Tickets issue only on a paid (“processing”) order — a declined payment never creates one.
Specialty formats
The formats that raise more than a standard draw — built into Gold.
50/50 raffle
Split the pot with your winner — the prize grows automatically as tickets sell.
Duck race
Adopt-a-duck fundraising with a numbered race and one winner.
Ball drop
Numbered balls, one drop, one winner — a favorite for golf days and clubs.
Successive numbering
Assigns numbers with no gaps — even after a refund or cancellation — so the sequence stays complete. Essential for duck races and ball drops, where every number must be accounted for.

Competitions
In some countries, prize draws run as skill-based competitions. Platinum has the tools to run one.
Pre-purchase skill question
A quiz before checkout turns the draw into a game of skill rather than a lottery.
Limit tickets per user
Cap how many entries any one person can buy.
Subscription auto-entries
Recurring weekly or monthly entries through WooCommerce Subscriptions.
Custom HTML email text
Add customized HTML text boxes to the confirmation email and order page.
Winner notification emails
Notify winners automatically once a draw is made.
Gifting tickets
Let buyers purchase tickets as a gift for someone else.
Pick your winner
Draw online or export for a live, on-stage draw — the record is already there either way.
Pick-a-winner tool
Draw the winning ticket right inside the plugin with a random online selection.
Export to CSV
Export every ticket to run a physical draw or keep your own records.
Online or printed draw
Choose the winner online, or print tickets for a traditional drum draw.
Raffle ticket import
Import existing ticket data into a raffle.
Platform & support
Self-hosted, multilingual, and backed by the US team that builds it.
Self-hosted
Runs on your own WordPress.org site — your data, your domain, your branding.
WooCommerce HPOS ready
Fully compatible with WooCommerce’s High-Performance Order Storage.
WPML / multilingual
Translation-ready, with Spanish, German and French language files included.
US ticket support
Help with the plugin from the people who develop it, based in the U.S.
Perpetual license
Your version is yours forever; a year of updates included, renew at 50% to stay current.
Four ways to number your tickets
Standard raffles number sequentially. Platinum adds three more modes — and you choose one per raffle. Successive, random and pick-your-number are mutually exclusive; they can’t be combined.
Sequential
Numbers go out in order. If an order is refunded or cancelled, that number is left as a gap.
All editions
Successive
Numbers are assigned with no gaps, even after refunds — the sequence stays complete. Built for duck races and ball drops.
Gold +
Random
Set a fixed number of tickets; they’re handed out in random order as orders arrive. Requires a limit.
Platinum
Pick your number
Set a fixed pool and let buyers claim their exact number — the first-responder badge-number favorite. Requires a limit.

A note on setup
WPRaffle is built for a web developer — or anyone comfortable setting up WooCommerce. We provide excellent support for the plugin itself, but we can’t support your theme conflicts or your broader WooCommerce and hosting setup. Our plugins are designed for WordPress.org sites; WordPress.com isn’t supported, because its hosting restricts the email WPRaffle needs to send tickets.
Want it handled for you? We offer a paid install-and-configure option — or use Chance2Win, our fully hosted nonprofit raffle site.
Feature questions
What features does the WPRaffle plugin include?
WPRaffle covers the full raffle workflow: unlimited raffles, tiered ticket packages, custom ticket-number formats, emailed tickets, scheduling, paper and cash orders, reporting and CSV export, specialty formats (50/50, duck race, ball drop), competition tools (a pre-purchase skill quiz, pick-your-number, random assignment, per-user limits), winner drawing, WPML translation, WooCommerce HPOS support, and US support — with the exact set depending on your edition.
Does WPRaffle support 50/50 raffles?
Yes. 50/50 raffles are part of the Gold edition, which automatically tracks the growing pot as tickets sell. Duck races and ball drops are included in Gold as well.
What’s the difference between the editions?
Free runs a small one-off raffle (up to 500 numbers). Silver adds unlimited raffles, custom number formats, paper orders and support. Gold adds the specialty formats (50/50, duck race, ball drop), custom ticket images and ticket inventory. Platinum adds the competition tools — the skill quiz, pick-your-number, random assignment, leading zeros, per-user limits and large-format tickets.
Can I run a skill-based competition or lottery?
Yes, with the Platinum edition. Its pre-purchase quiz turns a prize draw into a game of skill, and it adds pick-your-number, random distribution, per-user entry limits, and automatic recurring entries through WooCommerce Subscriptions.
Can buyers pick their own ticket number?
Yes, with the Platinum edition’s pick-your-number mode: you set a fixed pool of tickets and buyers choose their exact number at checkout. It’s popular with first-responder fundraisers, where officers and firefighters claim their badge number. Pick-your-number, random assignment and successive numbering are mutually exclusive — you choose one numbering mode per raffle.
Does WPRaffle work with my payment gateway?
WPRaffle works with virtually any standards-compliant WooCommerce payment gateway, including Stripe, Square and Authorize.net. Payments go straight to your own account, and tickets are generated on a paid order with no per-ticket fees.
Is there a free version of the raffle plugin?
Yes. The Free edition generates up to 500 unique ticket numbers and emails them to buyers. It’s a full standalone version, not a trial, and there’s no obligation to upgrade.
Does WPRaffle support WooCommerce HPOS?
Yes. The current version (V6) is fully compatible with WooCommerce’s High-Performance Order Storage.
